Floods on the Moselle

The Moselle has been placed under awareness level yellow floods from 13.02.2026 10:00 to 14.02.2026 16:00. The awareness level can be adapted or extended depending on the evolution of the situation.

Water levels on the Moselle have risen further and are now at the ‘Cote de vigilance jaune’ level of 530 cm at the Stadtbredimus gauge (Remich: 452 cm). Water levels will remain at this level this morning before falling below the ‘Cote de vigilance jaune’ again in the afternoon. Water levels are expected to continue falling on Sunday.
