The regional intermunicipal association for the promotion and development of the Southern Region.
The objective of the association
- to provide a stable regional cooperation structure as provided for in Article 25 of the Law of May 21, 1999 on territorial planning;
- to initiate, support, coordinate, and carry out initiatives, activities, and projects, particularly of an innovative nature, aimed at implementing the regional approach both at the national level and in a cross-border context, regardless of the promoter of these initiatives, activities, and projects;
- to support the operation, at the level of the Southern Region, of a documentation center and a statistical and geographical data processing center concerning territorial planning and regional development.
The association may perform all acts that contribute to the achievement of its social purpose. The members of the association commit to assisting the association in fulfilling its syndical objectives.
