RGTR - Changes effective from December 14, 2025

Main changes in the municipality of Mondercange (Foetz, Bergem, Mondercange, Pontpierre)

As part of the RGTR network reorganization, several lines serving the municipality of Mondercange will be modified starting from December 14, 2025. These adaptations aim to improve network readability, enhance connections, and harmonize schedules.

 

Particular attention point: Foetz – rue Th. de Wacquant

• rue Th. de Wacquant in Foetz will no longer be served by RGTR line 643 (new line Esch-sur-Alzette – Mondercange – Pontpierre, ex-TICE 17).

• Users in this area are invited to use the nearest RGTR stops located on the main axes of Foetz and Mondercange.

Main affected lines details

▪ RGTR Line 643 – Esch-sur-Alzette (Station) ↔ Pontpierre

• Implementation of a new RGTR line replacing the former TICE 17 line.

• Serving the platform B3 of Esch-sur-Alzette station.

• Removal of service to rue Th. de Wacquant in Foetz.

▪ RGTR Line 641 – Esch-sur-Alzette (Station) ↔ Foetz ↔ Bettembourg (Station)

• Route adjustment in the locality of Esch-sur-Alzette.

• Integration of the former TICE stops into the RGTR schedule.

▪ RGTR Line 755 – Capellen ↔ Dippach ↔ Pontpierre

• New departure stop and terminus: Pontpierre, Europastrooss.

• Schedule adjustments to ensure regular connections with line 750 in Bettange-sur-Mess (« Bei der Barriär »).

▪ RGTR Line 750 – Steinfort ↔ Dippach ↔ Belval

• Schedule adjustments for better connection with line 755.

• Local route modification in Bettange-sur-Mess.

• Replacement of the « Lycée Guillaume Kroll » stop with « rue Henri Koch » in Esch-sur-Alzette.

▪ RGTR Line 611 – Noertzange ↔ Pontpierre ↔ Luxembourg

• No changes on this route.

▪ RGTR Line 611 – Schifflange ↔ Mondercange ↔ Luxembourg (Station)

• Route adjustment in Schifflange.

• New starting point for trips to Luxembourg: Schifflange, Paerchen.
