National Day 2026

As part of the celebrations for the National Day 2026, the municipality of Mondercange invites you from June 20 to 23 to a varied and festive program designed for all ages. Sports, music, family activities, traditions, and moments of conviviality will be on offer across several emblematic venues in the municipality, including the Park Molter, the town center, the parish church, and the Duerfplaz.

The program will begin on Saturday, June 20 with sporting activities and a musical evening dedicated to Luxembourg's hip-hop scene. On Sunday, June 21, a full day of activities will take place, featuring open tournaments for all, family programs, live concerts, and a special exhibition marking the 125th anniversary of the Mondercange-Reckange/Mess Fire and Rescue Center (CISMR).

On Monday, June 22, the eve of National Day, the public can enjoy a festive evening at Park Molter with musical entertainment, a live concert, and a spectacular water and light show as night falls.

The official celebrations on Tuesday, June 23 will begin with the traditional Te Deum, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument aux Morts, the official procession, and the mayor's speech. The afternoon will continue in a convivial atmosphere at Park Molter with refreshments, drinks, and a tea dance hosted by the DJs of the Amicale Sang a Sprang Clausen.
